Putin: Our most important task is to increase our nuclear power

Russian President Vladimir Putin said they consider the development of Russia’s nuclear power to be the most important task, adding that “Russian nuclear powers make it possible to effectively and reliably provide strategic deterrence and maintain the global balance of power.” .

Putin met with young officers who graduated from different military schools with honors at the Kremlin Palace. Congratulating the officers, Putin gave information about the work done to strengthen the army.

Putin stressed that the strengthening of the army and the security of the country are always a priority and will remain so.

NEW MISSILE SYSTEMS

Emphasizing that they will continue to develop the army in a comprehensive manner, taking into account the new challenges and the experience of the “special military operation” they carried out in Ukraine, Putin said:

“Our most important task is the development of our nuclear energy, which is the main guarantee of Russia’s world security and stability. About half of our missile troops are equipped with the latest Yars complexes. Our army is being rearmed with modern Avangard hypersonic warhead missile systems. In the near future, Sarmat launchers designed for new heavy missiles will take up combat duties.”

Noting that the arsenals of the aviation and naval components of the nuclear forces were also renewed, Putin said that “Russian nuclear powers make it possible to provide an effective and reliable strategic deterrent and maintain the global balance of power.”

Referring to the importance of UAVs in wars, Putin added that they will mass-produce and distribute these vehicles to all military units. (AA)
