Biden’s son Hunter Biden to plead guilty
Hunter Biden, who made a deal with the Justice Department, will plead guilty to three federal counts related to tax charges against him and illegal possession of a weapon, according to a court filing in Delaware District Court.
It is claimed that with this deal, prosecutors will offer 53-year-old Hunter Biden probation, avoiding his prison sentence.
The agreement between the prosecution and Hunter Biden must be approved by the federal judge handling the case.
Political analysts say Hunter Biden’s guilty plea will have a major impact on President Joe Biden, who is expected to run again in the 2024 presidential election.
Delaware Attorney General David Weiss, a former President Donald Trump appointee, has been investigating Hunter Biden’s tax records, business activities and foreign business dealings for some time. (AA)
