Climate change action from the US

Biden spoke about his policies to combat climate change in Palo Alto, California.

Biden announced that he will provide $600 million in funding to coastal communities that have been adversely affected by rising sea levels, flooding, and storms caused by climate change to combat these issues.

MORE THAN $2 BILLION INVESTMENT

In addition, Biden reported that the Secretary of Energy will announce an investment of more than $2 billion for the modernization of electrical networks so that they are not damaged by adverse weather conditions caused by climate change.

Biden also stated that they will host a summit that will focus on combating climate change, where local, state, tribal and regional leaders will meet at the White House later this year. (AA)
