Fake North Korean Search Engine… Target, Personal Data
According to news from the South Korea-based Yonhap news agency, the South Korean National Intelligence Agency (NIS) announced that North Korea has built a search engine similar to Naver.
In its statement, NIS drew attention to the fact that Kuzey intended to access personal data by stealing the passwords and usernames of Southern users through its search engine.
Emphasizing that Kuzey is trying to commit cyber fraud, NIS stated that all sections of the Naver home page, including the simultaneous news section, were copied exactly.
NIS warned to be more careful when logging into the sites and stated that they would cut off access to the site if they were found to be fake.
