Israel: We are preparing for a multi-front war
In a statement to the AA correspondent, Israeli Commander Tzibolsky pointed to the two-week-long exercise called “Crushing Fist” between forces affiliated with the US Central Command and Israeli ground forces: “Over the past two weeks, “We conducted an exercise simulating a war on the northern borders. As part of this exercise, we simulated any threat that we might encounter in a real war situation,” he said.
Expressing that they are ready for any situation, Tzibolsky said: “We are ready, our preparation is for total war and we train on this basis. We are preparing ourselves in case something happens, especially on the northern border. We know that the next war will likely be multifrontal, and we are prepared to fight on multiple fronts and in all theaters to win the war. Hezbollah will be surprised if he tests us. ” he said.
Tzibolsky said that his country participated in the war with Lebanon in 2006 and in most of the “military operations” of the last 20 years and we are training and preparing for it. he commented he.
Tzibolsky said artillery strikes rely heavily on intelligence, aerial photography and precision weapons. They work in the same place. Intelligence brings information about places to hit. The unit also helps air force people fully cooperate and hit target areas accurately.” he said.
ISRAEL TARGETS MISSILE RAMPS BY HIZBOLLAH
Stating that in the event of a war with Hezbollah, Israel’s focus will be on missile launchers, Tzibolsky said: “We will not allow rockets to be fired at Tel Aviv, we will not allow that.”
Refraining from speaking about his country’s knowledge of Hezbollah’s presence of sensitive missiles, the Israeli commander said: “We can counter any threat that Hezbollah or any other party may pose to us.” suffice it to say.
Tzibolsky also spoke of the US military’s cooperation with his country, saying: “Israel is fighting back, fighting its wars and protecting its borders. US forces are present (with us) as part of the cooperation and agreements between the two militaries.” he used his statements.
THREAT OF ‘HARD’ BATTLES BY THE ISRAEL AUTHORITIES
On the other hand, senior Israeli officials have made numerous statements regarding the army’s preparations for war theaters and have threatened to “deal heavy blows” to Hezbollah in Lebanon in a possible war.
It is assessed that the threats in question are related to the close relationship between Hezbollah and Iran and the organization’s claims to attack areas under Israeli control with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
It should be noted that the two-week “Crush Fist” exercise, which the Israeli military announced was planned in advance, took place two weeks after the widely media-covered exercise in which Hezbollah led out an attack. on Israeli land and pretended to kill and capture soldiers.
In the statement made by the Israeli army on June 9, it was indicated that within the framework of existing cooperation with the US Army’s National Ground Training Center, the two-week exercise between the affiliated forces to US Central Command and Israeli ground forces were completed.
Recent reports in the Israeli media claim that Hezbollah may have purchased “precision-guided” missiles from Iran.
Hassan Nasrallah, Hezbollah’s secretary general, stated on May 25 that “if Israel makes a mistake that will lead to a big war, it will sink into the abyss and perish.”
Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said on June 1: “The dangers facing the state of Israel are increasing and we may be asked to do our part to protect the unity of Israel, especially the future of the Jewish people.” he had made a statement. (AA)
