Scary statement from Belarus: Tactical nuclear weapons will arrive in a few days
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has announced that Russia’s tactical nuclear weapons will be deployed on Belarusian territory in “a few days”, that is, before the previously announced date.
Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on June 9 that he would begin deploying tactical nuclear weapons to Belarus once the facilities are ready on July 7-8.
According to news from the Belta news agency, Lukashenko announced that Belarus is ready to buy weapons.
Lukashenko “Everything is ready. “I think we’ll get what we want in a few days, maybe even a little longer,” he said.
Putin announced in March that they had agreed to deploy nuclear weapons in Belarus.
