By order of the Chief of the General Staff of Greece, Konstantinos Floros, work has urgently begun to install a 100-meter metal fence on the border between Greece and Turkey on the banks of the Meriç river, in the rural area of Yenibosna (Nea Vissa ) village in the Kumçiftliği (Orestiada) region of the Meriç Alexandroupolis (Evros) province. Construction teams belonging to the region’s engineering units supported the works.
