Oksana Katyug (53), who was rescued from the area by boat because the first floor of her house was flooded, told Anadolu Agency about the first minutes of the flooding.
Katyug said: “There was a flood yesterday. The water began to enter the street slowly, then quickly. For this reason, we are suddenly left without furniture and helpless, like captives”. saying.
Explaining that she was evacuated from her home to a safe area with the help of soldiers, Katyug said, “My children were not at home. I was at home with my dog. The water level rose quite a bit yesterday afternoon.” he said.
Galina Litvinova (92) also noted that she lived alone in a relative’s house. Litvinova said she called her relatives after the flood and explained the situation, but they couldn’t come.
Litvinova, who could not control tears as she described her experiences, said she was evacuated from the house by boat with the help of soldiers. (AA)
