High school horror: Can’t stomach breakup, stabbed ex-girlfriend multiple times
17-year-old Madison Schemitz, a senior at Ponte Vedra High School in the US, saw Spencer Pearson, a former football player who just graduated from school, while having dinner at a restaurant with her mother Jackie Roge and her friend Casey Estep on Saturday.
According to the New York Post, Estep told local reporters that Schemitz had recently broken up with Pearson and has been viciously threatening him ever since.
Over time, Pearson’s threats became so frustrating that Schemitz’s mother was in the process of issuing a restraining order for her daughter’s safety.
With Pearson’s appearance, the trio tried to pay the bill and walk to his vehicle, but the 18-year-old assailant stopped them and began stabbing both Schemitz and his mother.
Eyewitness Kennedy Armstrong, 23, was sitting in a car parked nearby when he heard terrible screams. He went towards the sound and saw Pearson stab Schemitz to the ground multiple times.

While everyone involved was hospitalized, Schemitz was temporarily paralyzed due to deep cuts to his spine. He has already undergone several surgeries and is in critical condition.
More than $80,000 has already been raised in his GoFundMe account to help Schemetz and his family cover their medical and other expenses.
