Explosions heard in Washington cause panic

In social media posts, it was claimed that around 3:30 p.m. local time, a large noise similar to the sound of a sonic boom was heard.

Although it was recorded that a tremor was felt in the houses due to the explosion, some social media users commented that the explosion may be related to a possible military exercise.

While police reportedly asked the Federal Aviation Administration which citizens had called the hotlines, the Ministry of Homeland Security tweeted: “We are aware of the sound of the explosion heard in the capital, there is no threat right now.” expression was used.

Later, it was shared from the social media account of the Annapolis Office of Emergency Management that the explosion in question was caused by a “flight authorized by the Ministry of Defense”, and that the military aircraft in question, which exceeded the limit of sound, it caused a sound explosion.
