Tension increases on the Russian border with Ukraine: 5 dead
The governor of Russia’s Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, reported that 5 people lost their lives in the attacks carried out by the Ukrainian army in the region yesterday. Gladkov made a statement on the situation in the Belgorod region on his Telegram channel.
Stating that the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched an attack in the region yesterday, Gladkov said: “Grad multi-barreled rocket launcher missiles were launched at the village of Sobolevka in the region. Unfortunately, 3 people died and 7 people were injured. In the attack on the Şebekino administrative region, 2 people lost their lives. “Eight people have been injured in the last 24 hours here,” he said.
Gladkov noted that some buildings, the gas distribution network, water and electricity lines were damaged in the attacks.
Attacks are carried out from time to time in the Belgorod region of Russia. Vyacheslav Gladkov reported yesterday that 2 people were killed in the Ukrainian army’s attack in the region.
Last week it was announced that a sabotage group affiliated with the Ukrainian army entered the region where the temporary evacuation center was established due to the attacks and an operation was carried out against this group. (AA)
