Russia willing to comply with the START treaty under certain conditions
Russia will return to full compliance with the New START treaty if Washington abandons its “hostile stance” towards Moscow, Russian news agencies said. They are referring to Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov, Reuters reports.
Yesterday, the United States already proposed extending the limitation on the number of nuclear weapons until 2026, if Russia does the same, said security adviser Jake Sullivan.
Wagner: Bachmust’s retirement is practically complete
Russia’s Wagner mercenary army has all but completed its announced withdrawal from the occupied eastern Ukrainian town of Bachmut, Wagner boss Yevgeny Prigozhin said. 99 percent of the Wagner units have left the city. All positions have been transferred to the Russian Defense Ministry. Bachmut has been the focal point of the Russian battle for Ukrainian territory for months.
