Attack in Russia on World Children’s Day: two children die
It has been reported that 3 people, including 2 children, were killed and 10 injured in the Russian army’s airstrike on the Ukrainian capital Kiev at night.
The head of the Kiev City Military Administration, Sergey Popko, said in a statement via social media that the Russians attacked Kiev at night and killed children on June 1, World Children’s Day.
Noting that Russia used both cruise and ballistic missiles in the attack, Popko said: “All detected air targets were destroyed by our defense forces and vehicles.”
Stating that the missile fragments caused loss of life and destruction, Popko said: “The fragments fell on a polyclinic and a multi-storey building next to it in the Desna district of the capital. As a result, 3 people lost their lives and almost 10 were injured. “The worst thing is that there are two children among the dead,” he said.
Popko reported that a house in the Dnipro district was damaged due to the falling missile fragment and parked cars were burned. (AA)
