NATO: We are deploying 700 more soldiers in Kosovo
Before the informal meeting of the allied foreign ministers in Oslo, the Norwegian capital, Stoltenberg shared the details of the process, explaining to the press the decisions made regarding Kosovo.
“NATO KFOR forces will take all necessary measures to ensure a safe environment for all citizens of Kosovo. We will continue to act impartially in accordance with our United Nations mandates. We have decided to deploy another 700 soldiers from the Reserve Operational Forces for the Western Balkans. We have also prepared an additional reserve force battalion so that they can be deployed if necessary. “These are prudent steps to ensure that KFOR has the strength and capabilities it needs to accomplish its mission.”
