Death sentence for 23 ISIS members

The trial of the members of the terrorist organization was held at the Court of Appeals in Misrata, in western Libya.

As part of the trial, which began in August 2022, 320 people from Libya, Syria, Sudan and Egypt, most captured in clashes in Sirte, were tried for belonging to the ISIS terrorist organization.

Life sentence for 14 TERRORISTS

In the case, 23 defendants were sentenced to death, 14 defendants were sentenced to life imprisonment and deprivation of their citizenship rights.

In addition, one of the defendants was sentenced to 12, 6 to 10 years, one to 5 years and one to 3 years; It was decided to deport the foreigners after completing their sentences.

In the case in which five people were acquitted, the files of 2 people who lost their lives were abandoned.

While the trial of the other defendants in other cases continues, the verdict against them has not been announced.
