Russian criminal investigation into US senator
The Russian Foreign Ministry announced that the Russian Investigative Committee has launched a criminal investigation against US Senator Lindsey Graham. Graham, in her meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, used the phrases about financial aid to Ukraine: “The Russians are dying, it’s the best spending we’ve ever done.”
In a statement from the Russian Foreign Ministry, Russian Investigative Committee Chairman Alexander Bastrykin instructed the Main Investigative Directorate to open a criminal investigation after the US senator’s comments about the killing of Russians. In the video, US Senator Lindsey Graham says during her meeting with the President of Ukraine that the US was financially involved in the murder of Russian citizens. This fact will be subject to an appropriate legal evaluation by the investigators of the Russian Investigative Committee.
WE WILL NEVER FORGET THIS
On the other hand, the spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said in a statement about Graham’s words: “New news of military aid reaches Kiev from the United States almost every week. We remember the US political establishment’s statement that Ukraine’s main goal was to kill as many Russians as possible. We remember and know that this murderous ideology was supported by the ambassadors of Ukraine all over the world. We will never forget this,” she said.
