Election greetings from China to Erdogan

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Mao Ning congratulated President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on his re-election, stressing that they are ready to work together to bring Turkey-China relations to new levels.

Speaking at the regular press conference held in Beijing, spokesman Mao stated that China attaches great importance to its relations with Turkey, saying, “We support Turkey to follow the path of development in accordance with its own national realities, and we believe that it will achieve new development successes under the leadership of President Erdogan”.

Expressing that Turkey and China, under the leadership of the leaders of the two states, have achieved fruitful results for the benefit of the people of the two countries in recent years from their cooperation in different fields, Mao said: “We are ready to work with Turkey to bring the China-Turkey strategic cooperative partnership to new levels.” (AA)
