Ukraine: Unmanned aerial vehicle attack in kyiv

The mayor of kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, Vitaliy Klichko, reported that one person was killed and another was injured as a result of drone strikes in the city.

In a statement on his social media account, Klichko claimed that there were explosions at various points in the capital, kyiv, from midnight to early morning.

Noting that drone strikes were carried out against the city, Klichko said fires broke out as a result of drone fragments hitting civilian infrastructures in the capital’s Sviatoşynskiy, Pechersk, Solomyansk and Holosisiv districts.

Sharing the information that a 41-year-old man was killed and a 35-year-old woman was injured as a result of the attack in the Solomyansk district, Klichko stated that according to available information, 20 UAVs were destroyed in the air by the Ukrainian air defense forces. (AA)
