According to the Yonhap report, the suspect, who was seen opening the passenger plane’s door during landing, was detained by police on the grounds that he violated aviation safety laws.

The 33-year-old male passenger, whose statement was taken, said he tried to get off the plane quickly because he was short of breath. The suspect stated that he had been having stressful days recently due to his recent unemployment.

HE FACES UP TO 10 YEARS IN PRISON

It is claimed that the unidentified person could face up to 10 years in prison if convicted.
