Pakistan Justice Movement Party (PTI) leader Khan addressed supporters in Lahore after senior members of his party resigned, according to Geo News television news.

Expressing that he will form a committee tomorrow and this committee will negotiate with everyone in the coalition government, Khan said: “If they believe that my resignation from politics will benefit the country (the coalition government) and they satisfy the committee on this issue, I will give a step back and leave politics”. saying.

Khan’s remarks came after more than 30 politicians, including high-level figures, from four states across the country resigned from the PTI.

PTI General Secretary Asad Umar, taking into account the current situation after May 9, announced that he was resigning as General Secretary, but would remain in the party.

At least 10 PTI supporters lost their lives in protests that began after Khan was arrested on May 9 in the case in which he is accused of corruption.

Many public and private properties were damaged during the demonstrations and police vehicles were set on fire.

Military institutions in different cities, including the General Staff in Rawalpindi, were also attacked during the protests. (AA)
