First in 14 years in Paris: the air temperature did not rise
It was claimed that high temperatures have not been seen in Paris, the capital of France, since the beginning of the year for the first time in 14 years.
According to the news, based on a Twitter post by an official at French television channel BFMTV’s Meteorological Administration, thermometers have not registered a temperature reaching or exceeding 25 degrees in Paris since the beginning of the year. Although such a situation has been experienced for the first time in at least 14 years in the capital, temperatures are still within seasonal normals.
The last time in Paris was on May 31, 1983, thermometers registered 25 degrees Celsius and above for the first time.
While last summer in France took its place among the hottest and driest periods in the country’s history, it was one of the cities where high temperatures were recorded in Paris. February was also among the “hottest February months” in the country’s history. (AA)
