A first for Hezbollah: They showed their strength

The Hezbollah movement in Lebanon made a show of force with the military exercise and march it organized yesterday.

The British newspaper Times reported the details of the missile march organized yesterday in the city of Aramta, a stronghold of Hezbollah, which is not affiliated with the Hezbollah organization in Turkey and has influence in Lebanese politics. The Hezbollah gang accompanied the armed soldiers at the demonstration in the mountainous area, which was followed by Western journalists for the first time in years.

In the news, it was noted that the march, in which masked militants displayed their military skills, attacked missile targets and fired weapons, was the largest demonstration organized by the organization in years and was aimed at challenging Israel.

The Times reporter wrote that they were aware of the march shortly before, that Hezbollah announced the event as a “military operation”, but were unaware of the content. Stating that foreign journalists were welcomed in the near-border region, the newspaper noted that many women and children attended the event held at the Hezbollah base, which has been under great secrecy for years.

Speaking at the rally, Hezbollah officials made statements that “we will rain missiles on Israeli cities,” taking aim at Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

KILLED ISRAEL IN 2006

Hezbollah frequently warns Israel that it could launch missile attacks. In 2006, during the war between Israel and the military wing of Hezbollah, Israel had to lift the blockade on the country and withdraw its troops. This war was described as the “heaviest defeat in Israel’s history” and even Lebanese Christians made statements of support for Hezbollah.

Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of Hezbollah, which also supports resistance organizations in Palestine and is in alliance with Iran, declared that they have the power to destroy Israel, calling it a “Zionist invader.”
