Strange pose of the Canadian leader generated controversy: “He dishonored us”

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, one of the leaders participating in the G7 summit held in Hiroshima, Japan, posed spreading his feet in South Korea, where he went before the summit, sparked controversy.

Trudeau’s position, who met with officials of the country during his visit to South Korea, became the agenda of the Korean press and his country.

The cameras reflected the smile of the Canadian prime minister as he made this gesture to close the difference in height between him and the South Korean official, and the elevation of Kim’s fingers. Meanwhile, the South Koreans were seen laughing uproariously.

While the South Korean press described the Canadian leader’s actions as “heartbreaking and sincere behaviour”, the Canadian press drew attention to “shameful” comments.

The fact that Trudeau stood next to the speaker of the South Korean Parliament, Kim Jin-pyo, was interpreted by many as “lack of seriousness”. “Trudeau has disgraced us abroad,” said the conservative publication True North.
