Putin’s secret Black Sea bunker revealed
Details of the bunker attached to Russian President Vladimir Putin’s luxury mansion on the Black Sea coast have emerged.
Blueprints have been published for the elevator, which is connected to Putin’s massive residence and can go down to a depth of 50 meters.
Business Insider, one of the leading media organizations in the US, shared the details of the multi-million dollar residential complex. US media, which reported the actions of Russian dissidents, claimed that Putin’s luxury residence includes a hookah lounge, wine cellar, church, ice skating rink and helipad.
The shared drawings show the blueprint for the secret elevator in the bunker. While the elevator goes to two exits, the lower one leads directly to the beach.
Russian opponents also shared the details and plans for the secret bunker at Putin’s residence. In the published documents, it is seen that there is an elevator hidden under the luxury residence and it descends 50 meters and provides the exit to the Black Sea coast.
Sharing the data of the contractor company Metro Style, which was in service for a period in Russia, Business Insider said: “According to the architectural plans, the tunnels are made of very thick concrete and allow the supply of water and fresh air. VIPs that stay in the bunker can survive for days or even months.”
The long tunnels below Putin’s residence are seen in 3D drawings.
Structural engineer Thaddeus Gabryszewski, who reviewed the drawings, said: “The priority in these tunnels is safety and security. There is a fire prevention system. It has a water and sewage system. It is necessary for one’s survival.”
While the tunnels were indicated on the maps and drawings to be between 40 and 60 meters long, they were also recorded as being 6 meters wide.
