Critical deals between Iran and Russia
According to Iran’s official news agency IRNA, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandr Novak, who visited the capital Tehran with his delegation, met with Iranian Oil Minister Javad Ovci.
Making a statement to the press after the meeting, Ovci stated that they have very good relations with Russian companies in the energy field, saying, “Russian companies are currently investing in 7 oil fields in Iran. We agreed that Russia would develop the other 6 oil fields.” saying.
The Iranian Oil Minister announced that a memorandum of understanding covering $40 billion of cooperation between Iran and Russia will be signed in a few months.
Giving information about ongoing talks between Iranian and Russian officials since yesterday, Iranian Deputy Oil Minister Ahmed Esedzade said meetings were held between 100 Iranian companies and more than 80 Russian companies yesterday.
esedzade; He indicated that as a result of the meetings attended by Ovci and Novak, 2 agreements and 8 memorandums of understanding were signed between the two countries, which contemplate cooperation in various fields.
