UK and Netherlands lead the F16 plan
The UK and the Netherlands are spearheading a plan to build an international coalition to supply Ukraine with F16 fighter jets. Including pilot training. The two countries agreed on this at the Council of Europe summit in Reykjavik, Downing Street reports.

According to Ukraine, fighter jets are needed to defend against Russia. For the delivery of the F-16s, the permission of the Americans is required, which are currently reluctant to do so to avoid an escalation between NATO and Russia.
The Council of Europe opens the register of damages for the war in Ukraine
The Council of Europe is opening a damage register to record all destruction during the war in Ukraine. The registry is supposed to help punish those responsible for the war. There is also talk of a court in Reykjavik.
According to French President Emmanuel Macron, all 46 member states of the council agree. Macron hopes that all countries actively contribute to the register and compile it as completely as possible. The summit continues today.
