Zelenskiy, on European tour, meets British Prime Minister
Having completed his contacts with French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris, the French capital, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy met with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak in England. Making a statement on his social media account, Zelenskiy said: “I am happy to meet again with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. We continue to work for the victory of Ukraine,” he said.
The statement on Zelenskiy’s visit from the British Prime Minister’s social media account read: “President Zelenskiy came to the UK to meet Prime Minister Rishi Sunak about Ukraine’s ongoing military resistance to Putin’s brutal occupation.” . Earlier it was said that the two leaders will hold talks at Checkers, the country home of the British prime minister, and that Zelenskiy will be the first world leader to be received by Sunak at this residence.

Separately, the British Prime Minister’s Press Office announced that Prime Minister Sunak will today approve the dispatch of long-range attack drones to Ukraine.
“The Prime Minister will confirm today that the UK will procure more unmanned aerial systems, including hundreds of air defense missiles and hundreds of new long-range attack UAVs with a range of over 200 kilometres.
