Hector Elias trapped

According to news from the Mexican press, Elías, who was staying in a house in the city of Guamuchil, was captured as a result of the raid.

Elías, who is said to be one of the important names of the “Sinaloa Cartel” and has received a reward for his capture for a long time, is responsible for the deaths of many people and for drug trafficking crimes.

THANKS TO THOSE WHO CONTRIBUTED

In the statement made by the State Prosecutor’s Office on the subject, it was noted that the institutions acted jointly in the arrest of Elías, and those who collaborated were thanked.

The Sinaloa Cartel, considered the most powerful international drug and organized crime organization in Mexico, was founded in 1990 by drug trafficker Joaquín Guzmán, nicknamed “El Chapo.”

Joaquín Guzmán, who escaped from two maximum security prisons in Mexico in 2001 and 2015, was last captured in January 2016 and extradited to the United States. (AA)
