Hostage rescue operation ends in blood in Pakistan

6 members of the armed forces and one civilian were killed in the hostage rescue operation at the military compound in the Pakistani province of Balochistan, and the militants were neutralized.

According to national media reports, militants who attacked the military compound in the Muslim Bagh region late at night took 3 families hostage. In the operation to save the hostages, 6 soldiers and one civilian lost their lives, and 6 civilians were injured.

The militants were neutralized by the security forces. No one has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.

Terror attacks have increased in Pakistan in recent months, especially in the provinces of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan. Islamabad argues that these attacks were planned and directed by the Pakistani Taliban (TTP) based in Afghanistan. Afghanistan denies these accusations.
