British Daily Mirror apologizes to Prince Harry

MGN’s lawyer, Andrew Green, stated that he admitted that the institution made some mistakes in its defense, saying: “MGN sincerely apologizes for all illegal information gathering and assures all complainants that this will not happen again. MGN does not make this apology to reduce the damage caused, on the contrary, it accepts that an apology at this stage will not have this effect. Piers Morgan, the editor of the Daily Mirror at the time, also spoke out about the apology from his former institution.

The plaintiffs allege that they suffered “serious breaches of privacy” as a result of “heinous criminal acts” allegedly committed by ANL, and that their private information was misused.
Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, previously sued The Mail On Sunday for libel and won in July 2022.
While Prince Harry was suing The Sun for breach of privacy, his lawyer, David Sherborne, claimed that Prince William of Wales took a large amount of money from The Sun affiliate News Group Newspapers (NGN) as a part of the same lawsuit. (AA)
