The 10 most in-demand jobs worldwide

Analyzing data from a US-based employment and career company, experts combined data from the Internet to create a list of the 10 most sought-after jobs around the world.

Consequently, the most in-demand profession worldwide is that of Software Quality Assurance Analyst. This profession, which tests software to make sure it’s free of bugs, saw a 155 percent increase in searches from 2021 to 2022.

According to Salary.com, the base salary for this job code averages more than $1.2 million (US$64,892).

The second most sought-after occupation was solar consultant and customer service worker, teaching customers about solar-powered equipment. The report, however, was made before the latest artificial intelligence work led to the loss of thousands of jobs.

The third most demanded occupation was related to customer service.

SOFTWARE-RELATED PROFESSIONS AGAIN

Nurse Practitioner was also the fourth most sought after position, up 60 percent, followed by Business Operations Specialist. There was a 49 percent increase in searches for this occupation.

The average salary for a Nurse Practitioner is approximately £897,000 ($46,050), and Business Operations Specialist salaries typically start at £1.3 million ($67,782).

The sixth and seventh occupations in demand globally were digital marketing specialist and data analyst.

The eighth most in-demand job on the list is site reliability engineer, who uses automation tools to monitor and control software reliability in the production environment. B.Salaries for this occupational group start at approximately TL 2.9 million ($146,783).

The information security analyst and cloud architect who manages cloud computing, with a salary of approximately TL 2.1 million (USD 106,064) per year, ranked ninth and tenth on the list.
