Al Jazeera reports that Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh met his Chinese counterpart Li Shangfu. According to India, both had “candid discussions on developments in the border areas between India and China and on bilateral relations”. Singh told Li that “the development of relations between India and China is based on peace and tranquility on the borders” and that all border issues should be resolved in accordance with existing agreements and commitments.
