The Danes saw a Russian ship with a mini submarine near the Nord Stream
06:05 | A Russian crane vessel specializing in underwater operations was spotted near the incident just days before the Nord Stream pipelines were blown up. This was confirmed by the Danish military to the Dagbladet Information newspaper. A patrol vessel took dozens of photos of the SS-750 east of the Danish island of Bornholm on Sept. 22, according to the military.
Four days later, Nord Stream 1 and 2 which runs along Bornholm exploded. The explosions are most likely the result of sabotage. The big question, however, is who is behind it. Pipelines can carry gas from Russia to Germany across the Baltic Sea.
