Foreign Ministry condemns Armenia

The Ministry made a written statement on the “Nemesis Monument” inaugurated in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. “We strongly condemn the opening of the ‘Nemesis Monument’ in Yerevan, which is dedicated to the perpetrators of the assassinations against Ottoman political and military leaders in the early 1920s, as well as Azerbaijani officials of the time and even some Ottoman citizens. from Armenia. origin.” In the statement, it was emphasized that the unveiling of this shameful monument is the glorification of a bloody terrorist act that led to heinous terrorist attacks in which 31 diplomats and their family members were killed.

In the statement, it was underlined that the way this event was presented in the Armenian press showed that a distorted interpretation of the story still persists in some minds, noting the following:
