famous broadcaster fired
In a statement from Fox, it was claimed that Tucker Carlson and the company have agreed to part ways, noting that Carlson’s last show aired on April 21.
The decision comes after Fox agreed to pay $787.5 million to Dominion, which makes the vote-counting machine.
Dominion filed a defamation lawsuit on Fox news channel after the 2020 election, alleging that it made posts that the election was rigged in favor of Biden, through the machines produced by the company.
In that context, Tucker Carlson was one of the most mentioned names with his posts, and if the parties disagreed, he would be expected to testify at the hearings.
The Dominion company stated in its public messages that Tucker Carlson and some other company presenters were broadcasting the wrong way, even though they knew the election was not rigged. Dominion stressed that Carlson’s broadcasts on the issue after the 2020 election were slanderous.
