Male politicians gave a message in pink heels

Transport Minister Alghabra shared images of some Canadian lawmakers in pink heels on Thursday April 20 as part of the High-Heeled Hope campaign launched to prevent violence against women.

The country’s transport minister, Alghabra, made a statement with the images. “Violence against women is still prevalent in our society. High-Heeled Hope is an event that raises awareness about violence against women and encourages men and boys to be part of the solution. “We wear her signature pink heels to support this important cause.”

Alghabra said: “Now that I have brought it to your attention, violence against women is not just physical, but in all its forms. “Starting with me, men need to be aware of the consequences of our actions and words and do their best to create space for the women around us.”
