American arrested for evading sanctions

05:00 | Two men have been arrested in the US state of Florida for allegedly violating sanctions against Russia. It concerns an American and a man of Belarusian nationality. The American media report it.

They allegedly sold $150 million worth of metal products to a Ukrainian oligarch who in turn allegedly supported Russian separatists in eastern Ukraine. The men are sentenced to a minimum of 20 years in prison.

The US sends hundreds of millions of munitions to Ukraine

02:00 | The United States is sending $325 million worth of munitions and other military equipment to Ukraine. The new package is essential for strengthening the Ukrainian military on the battlefield, the defense ministry said in Washington.

These are ammunition for Himars-type rocket launchers, rockets and grenades for artillery and tanks. Anti-tank mines and logistic support vehicles are also shipped.

This is the 36th U.S. Army Supply Drop. The United States and its allies continue to support Ukraine in the war against Russia, is the message.
