The Germans also went to Bild, one of the most widely read newspapers in the country, and said: “They are closing our street, we will not be able to go to the door.” The Turkish investor, who demanded money from those who wanted to pass, gave the residents of the street until May 3.
People sitting in the street spoke to the German media in a panic.
BIG STREET FOR ONLY 2500 EUROS
It was claimed that the Turkish investor living in another city bought the 100-meter street for 2,500 euros. It has been known that Calle Isla/Parcela number 1588/11 was owned by a person when the area was being populated, and had been in the hands of that person since the 1990s, and was finally put up for auction.

THE MUNICIPALITY DID NOT TAKE IT AS “EXPENSIVE”
The newspaper Bild am Sonntag announced that the municipality of Zweibrücken did not buy the street “for financial reasons”.
German homeowners who have been living on the streets for years said that they could not sell their houses because of this situation, and that they did not know what to do. Marianne Nicolau, 74, who lives on the street, said: “I have lived on this street for 15 years with my wife, Alexander. We wanted to sell the house and we talked to a lot of people. But after all these events, all the buyers were left out,” she said.
“Like other homeless residents, I questioned how a man from the Hunsrück bought a street in Zweibrücken and sold it to people at such high prices,” Nicolau said.
The Germans sitting in the street are trying to find a solution by meeting one after another.
If there is no agreement by May 3, it is not yet known how the street will be closed.
