Ukraine Poland and Hungary decision

As the war between Russia and Ukraine continued, Hungary and Poland made remarkable statements one after another.

Hungary will temporarily ban the import of grains and oilseeds originating in Ukraine, as well as some other agricultural products, the Hungarian Ministry of Agriculture said in a statement. The continuation of the existing market processes will cause such serious damage to Hungarian agriculture that extraordinary measures must be taken to stop them.

The Polish Ministry of Agriculture also announced that it has decided to stop grain imports from Ukraine.

In the statement made by the ministry, it was also stated that they will continue to support Ukraine, emphasizing that the decision is aimed at protecting Polish farmers.

In the statement, “We support Ukraine and will continue to support it. But the duty of the State is to protect the interests of its citizens.
