Erdogan’s iftar to ambassadors: No US ambassador
AKP President and Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended the iftar dinner with ambassadors held at the AKP headquarters. Making remarks on the show, Erdogan said:
* “Our earthquake-ravaged cities are almost eager to rise again stronger than before. Like 85 million, we are healing our wounds fast.
* (Earthquake Region) As of yesterday, the construction process of 70,000 residences and farmhouses began, 40,761 of them were cemented.
* The order that traps the destiny of humanity between the lips of 5 countries is not sustainable. There is an urgent need to reform the United Nations Security Council with an inclusive approach.
* (Russia-Ukraine) I believe that a just peace is possible, giving both parties an honorable exit and bringing our region out of the turmoil into which it has been dragged.
“WE WILL NOT ALLOW NEW BUSINESSES AT ALL”
* We are aware of the attempts to make the separatist terrorist organization flourish with puns, diplomatic and military stunts, and we follow them one by one.
* Just as we do not condone the siege of our country by a terror corridor, we certainly will not allow new attempts.
*Disgusting attempts to burn the Qur’an are in no way acceptable or excusable. This is a clear and unequivocal hate crime. These bases, which not only offend nearly 2 billion people, but also incite anger, must now end.”
The US ambassador to Ankara, Jeff Flake, did not participate in the program.
President Erdoğan spoke with Vasyl Bodnar, the Ukrainian ambassador to Ankara, who attended the fast-breaking dinner.
“WHAT WOULD YOU REQUEST AN APPOINTMENT?” HE SAID
President Erdoğan strongly criticized the US ambassador in Ankara, Jeff Flake, who visited the CHP president, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu. Visiting Bağcılar Ülkü Ocakları last weekend, Erdoğan said: “We need to teach America a lesson in this election. Joe Biden speaks from there, what is the Biden ambassador doing here? He is going to visit Mr. Kemal Kemal. It’s a shame, give your head work. You are the ambassador. His interlocutor here is the president.” He said.
“With what face will you ask the president on a date from now on?” Erdogan said: “Our doors are closed to him, you will not see him again. Because? You will know your limit. You will know your duty as an ambassador. You will learn how an ambassador works. If you don’t learn this, this gate is not the passing inn, you can’t enter.”
President Erdoğan met with Russian Ambassador to Ankara Aleksey Yerhov, who attended the fast-breaking dinner.
