Security stepped up outside Trump’s New York residence

The security measures taken by the New York police have increased in front of Trump’s residence in Manhattan, who is expected to go to the New York Attorney General’s Office tomorrow to respond to the charges against him, at the summons of the supporters to meet.

As Trump supporters, who had previously called for support, chanted slogans against the New York Attorney General’s Office and Democrats outside Trump Tower on 5th Street, police tried to keep traffic under control by narrowing crosswalks in the surroundings with barriers against any possible explosion.

Recently, the NYPD, whose permits were canceled and all personnel called to work, did not allow members of the press trying to take pictures to wait less than a block away from Trump Tower.

In the US media, there were reports that the indictment against Trump had more than 30 counts related to violations of his election campaign and business records, including paying a “hush fee” to adult film star Stormy Daniels.

EVENT

Trump, who is a candidate for the 2024 US presidential election, announced on March 18 that he expects the Manhattan district attorney to arrest the investigation launched by the Manhattan district attorney on the grounds that he paid adult film star Stormy Daniels during the 2016 Presidential Election, and therefore called for a protest.

The former president, who described the jury’s decision to accuse him as “political” and argued that it was “interference in the elections”, is expected to go to the New York Attorney General’s Office tomorrow to pronounce himself.

Trump will be the first former president in US history to stand trial for an accusation against him. (AA)
