Palestinian groups reacted to the killing of a Palestinian near Al-Masjid al-Aqsa by Israeli forces and the closing of the gates of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Palestinian groups made written statements after Israeli forces killed a Palestinian at the entrance to the Masjid al-Aqsa in occupied east Jerusalem and closed the doors of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Hamas spokesman Hazim Qasim said: “The killing of a Palestinian youth by the enemy army at one of the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque is part of the religious war waged by the invaders against our people and our values. sacred”.
Munzir al-Hayik, one of the leaders of the Conquest Movement, stated that Al-Aqsa volunteer guards, known as Al-Aqsa Masjid, were terrorized ahead of the Passover holiday, noting that fanatical settlers Jews were allowed to storm Aqsa and perform Talmud rituals.
In the statement made by the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, it was emphasized that the Israeli forces closed the gates of Masjid al-Aqsa, inflicted violence on Palestinians and detained some of them, adding: “Zionism’s attacks on our people are increasing dangerously and are provoking the people”.

Israeli forces had killed a Palestinian at the Silsile Gate, which opened onto the Masjid al-Aqsa in East Jerusalem’s Old City at night, allegedly for trying to seize the gun of one of the Israeli policemen who was doing a check. of identity.
Israeli police reported that the person killed was a 26-year-old Palestinian from the town of Hura in the Najaf desert region.
After the incident, Israeli forces attacked Palestinians at the Kattanin Gate from the entrances of Masjid al-Aqsa, beating Palestinians with batons and damaging materials belonging to the cafeteria.
