France welcomes the approval of the NATO Parliament to Finland
In a statement from the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, “France welcomes the approval yesterday of Finland’s protocol of accession to NATO by the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. This is the 30th and final ratification decision by the Allies, which now paves the way for Finland to formally join the Alliance.” It was said.
The statement included France’s expectation that Turkey and Hungary would approve Sweden’s accession protocol so that NATO could accept these two new allies at the Vilnius Summit to be held in Lithuania in July 2023.
