Israel continues airstrikes in Damascus

According to the official Syrian news agency SANA, based on a military source, at 00:17 local time, a point in the Damascus countryside came under an airstrike by Israeli forces.

“Our air defense systems encountered the enemy missiles and shot down some of them. The damage occurred as a result of the attack. There was no explanation from the Israeli authorities about the attack.

It is known that in addition to the Syrian army, groups under the command of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and especially Lebanese Hezbollah elements are present in Damascus and its rural areas.

Syria reported that some of its points in Damascus were attacked by Israel yesterday.

Since the start of the war in 2011, Israel has been carrying out attacks against Iranian-backed groups and regime military points in Syria from time to time. (AA)
