King Charles of England made his first foreign visit to Germany

21 guns were fired at the Berlin-Brandenburg (BER) airport for King Charles, who came to Germany with his wife Camilla as part of a state visit.

King Charles and his wife Camilla then proceeded to the historic Brandenburg Gate in central Berlin, where they were welcomed by German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and his wife Elke Büdenbender.

A military ceremony for the King of England was held in Pariser Square in front of the Brandenburg Gate. Here, for the first time after the establishment of West Germany, a military ceremony for the representative of a foreign state was held.

Hundreds of people took part in the sector reserved for them in the square to witness the ceremony, where extensive security measures were adopted.

After the ceremony, Steinmeier and King Charles addressed the audience and shook hands and chatted with them.

Later, King Charles went to the German presidential residence, Bellevue Palace, where he signed the Presidential Special Book.

The King of England will attend the event on “Energy Transformation and Sustainability” at Bellevue Palace and a dinner hosted by President Steinmeier in his honor.

As part of his three-day visit to Germany, King Charles will make a speech in the Bundestag tomorrow and will visit the ecological village of “Brodowin” in the state of Brandenburg.

The King of England will travel to Hamburg on Friday March 31 to visit a primary school there.
