In the statement issued by the Ministry of the Interior, it was reported that after land, rail and sea transportation from Croatia, which is included in the Schengen region, from January 1, air transportation has also been brought into compliance with the Schengen rules. .
Noting that border controls have been lifted at 9 international airports, the statement states that the international airports of Dubrovnik, Split, Zadar, Pula, Rijeka, Osijek, Malo Losinje and Brac are also included in the application, which was launched in the capital Zagreb.
In the statement, it was emphasized that it is of great importance to adapt air transport to the Schengen region and it was shared that 70 percent of the passengers arriving in Croatia by air are from the Schengen region.
