According to a statement from the Office of the President of Ukraine, UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador Orlando Bloom said he would support humanitarian aid and infrastructure reconstruction projects for Ukrainian children.
It was stated that priority will be given to humanitarian aid, especially for children. Priorities also include the development of a family care system for children without parental care, the development of infrastructure for early childhood development, the creation of youth projects and initiatives.
During his visit to Ukraine, Bloom, who visited the cities of Kiev and Irpin, as well as the town of Demydiv, stressed that he was impressed by the courage and resilience of the Ukrainians, who remained strong despite the war, in their meeting with Zelenskiy.

Zelenskiy also stressed the importance of creating a safe environment for children both in Ukraine and for those who had to leave the country due to the war.
Thanking UNICEF for providing Ukrainian children’s institutions with laptops, Zelenskiy urged UNICEF to lead efforts to provide shelter for Ukrainian schools.
“Of course, sheltering schools is a big challenge. “During the war, financial support for these types of initiatives is of particular importance to us because we focus all our efforts on the defense of our state,” he said.
