Ukraine Reacts To Putin’s Declaration Of Tactical Nuclear Weapons
The Chairman of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov, regarding Russian President Vladimir Putin’s statement that they will deploy tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus, said: “The Kremlin has taken Belarus hostage nuclear.”
In a statement made via social media, Danilov described Putin’s statement as a “step towards destabilization” of Belarus.
Danilov said: “(Putin’s statement on tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus) maximizes the negative perception and public disapproval of Russia and Putin in Belarusian society. “The Kremlin has taken Belarus hostage nuclear,” he said.
Noting that they will plant tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus, Putin said: “We will do this without violating our international obligations on non-proliferation.” he said. (AA)
