UN CONFERENCE ON WATER
Hosted by the Netherlands and Tajikistan, the United Nations Water Conference has started and will continue for two days with many activities.
The conference was opened with the participation of the UN Secretary General Guterres, the King of the Netherlands Willem-Alexander and the President of Tajikistan İmamali Rahman.
The organization, which is the first UN Water Conference, aims to raise awareness of “better understanding, valuing and managing water” within the framework of the UN Sustainable Development Goals for 2030, and promoting the achievement of the objectives related to water through the establishment of an international agreement.
