Saudi Arabia: Our support for the victims of the earthquake in Turkey will continue

In the news of the country’s official agency SPA, it was reported that the weekly meeting of the Council of Ministers was held under the leadership of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

King Salman congratulated his citizens and all Muslims on the occasion of the month of Ramadan.

In the news, Saudi Arabia was reported to have stressed its support during the conference to ensure life returned to normal in earthquake-hit areas in Turkey and Syria.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Abdullah bin Abdulaziz er-Rabia, president of the King Salman Center for Humanitarian and Relief Studies, chaired the Saudi Arabian delegation at the International Donors Conference.

Recalling that King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman gave aid orders after the earthquakes that hit Turkey and Syria, Rabia pointed out that donations made by the state and citizens of Saudi Arabia have so far reached 150 million Dollars.

Expressing that they have sent relief materials to Turkey and Syria with 16 planes so far, Rabia said that they have started construction of temporary shelters for a total of 3,000 families in both countries. (AA)
